RSVP Today for our February Kitchen Counseling Workshop
January 22nd, 2010 Posted in EventsPrevious Workshop Recap: Kitchen Counseling – A Therapeutic Approach to Kitchen Design – Saturday, January 16th, 2010
This past Saturday, we hosted our Kitchen Counseling workshop by welcoming a dozen guests to our Glen Ellyn studio.
After a quick tour through the space, everyone assembled in our spacious conference room where a continental breakfast was served. Once we outlined the goals for the workshop, we then broke into groups, pairing guests one on one our designers, where they could review floor plans together. There, the designers were able to suggest and sketch new layout options, as well as explain what the next kitchen design steps might be to make these plans come to life.
By 10:00, the individual consultations were complete and everyone met back in the conference room for questions and answers and group discussion. Afterwards, we held the raffle we promised, and a full-service kitchen design retainer was awarded to a lucky couple from Hinsdale!

I can’t believe I discovered the information about your kitchen design workshop, the evening after it happened! I am just starting the design process on a new home, and think it best to start with the kitchen design, and base the layout around that. I would be interested in viewing your showroom, and a consultation visit. I find your work most exciting! Connie Kozel

Sorry about that Connie. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it has been our experience that planning a kitchen in a new home design is best done prior to finalizing architectural plans. This allows you to incorporate the necessary space planning and design elements into the new house plans that are most important to the way you use your kitchen and your personal requirements. There will be additional workshops scheduled in the near future. In the interim, please let us know how we can be of assistance. Jim Drury
